Uzbekistan Route — Service Notice

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for your continued support of Meest China. We have recently adjusted the carriage arrangements for our Uzbekistan route. Shipping to Uzbekistan remains fully available and continues to be handled by us — your cargo can still be shipped through Meest China as usual.

  1. Minimum weight and quotes

Air freight starts at 0.5 kg and truck freight at 10 kg. Parcels under 30 kg require an individual quote; there is no standard rate table. Because pricing is now calculated per channel, the Uzbekistan option is no longer available in the website freight calculator — if you cannot find it in the dropdown list, this is a normal adjustment and does not mean the service has stopped. Commercial cargo of 30 kg and above can still be quoted and shipped as normal, with no change to the quoting or shipping process.

  • Transit time

Air: delivery 5-9 days after departure. Truck: delivery 17-30 days after departure. Actual timing depends on flight and truck schedules and is subject to confirmation by the carrier.

  • Chargeable weight

For all channels, chargeable weight is the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight, where volumetric weight = length × width × height (cm) ÷ 6000. For general cargo by air, 0.5 kg is one chargeable unit.

  • Last-mile delivery

The rates above include delivery within Tashkent city proper. Delivery to Tashkent Region and other areas is subject to an additional surcharge, quoted by your account manager based on the specific address. Remote addresses may need to be collected from the nearest pickup point.

  • Cargo restrictions

Prohibited items — powders, flammable or explosive materials, pharmaceuticals, health supplements, adult products, tobacco, controlled knives and similar items — are not accepted on any channel. Certain goods containing batteries, magnets, liquids or pastes require a non-dangerous goods appraisal report issued by an air carrier-approved inspection body; the report must be current and match the actual goods being shipped. Unauthorized branded goods are generally not accepted for separate customs declaration.

  • Compensation

We recommend insuring cargo to its full value. For uninsured cargo, compensation in the event of loss follows each channel’s standard terms and is subject to a cap. Damage to fragile items during transit is not compensated. Please refer to the channel terms provided by your account manager when requesting a quote.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. For quotes, orders, or further details, please contact your dedicated account manager.
